These terms apply to warranty claims relating to manufacturing defects, and form part of, and should be read alongside, our main Terms and Conditions.
Coverage
How warranty coverage works
4x4 Tyre Hub sources tyres from a wide range of manufacturers, each of which sets its own warranty terms and coverage period for manufacturing defects. We do not apply a single blanket warranty period across all Products — instead, each tyre is covered by the warranty offered by its manufacturer.
Details of the applicable manufacturer warranty for a given Product can be requested from us at any time, and will be provided where available at the time of purchase.
This Guarantee applies in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the consumer guarantee provisions of the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded (see clause 10 of our main Terms and Conditions).
Making a claim
Making a warranty claim
If you believe a tyre has failed due to a manufacturing defect, contact us at help@4x4tyrehub.com.au with your Order Reference and a description of the issue.
In most cases, the tyre will need to be returned to us or made available for inspection to determine whether the issue is due to a manufacturing defect, damage from use, or another cause.
Damage caused by misuse, incorrect fitting or balancing by a party other than an approved Fitter, use in competition or off-road conditions beyond the tyre's rating, road hazard damage (e.g. punctures, impacts, kerb strikes), or general wear is not covered under this Guarantee, and would instead fall under the manufacturer's specific terms, if applicable, or would not be covered at all.
Where a claim is accepted following inspection, any remedy (replacement, partial refund, or otherwise) will be assessed based on the remaining tread depth and condition of the tyre at the time of the claim, in line with the applicable manufacturer's own claims process.
